I grew up in a small town where life followed a familiar rhythm. People had sensible plans, realistic expectations, and dreams that fit neatly within what already existed.

But I always felt drawn to something more.

For a long time, I was embarrassed by that ambition. It felt easier to stay quiet than to explain why I wanted a life that looked different from everyone around me.

Then I moved to Paris.

What I found wasn't perfection. It wasn't effortless glamour or a movie-like version of adulthood.

It was uncertainty, missed opportunities, small victories, and many moments of wondering whether I was completely out of my mind.

But it was mine.

And somewhere along the way, I realised that wanting more is not something to apologise for.

Beautiful clothes are often treated as something that should be saved for later. For a special occasion. For a future version of yourself.
